Chairman Message
It is my great honour to present this message on behalf of the Airline Operators Committee at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, the primary aviation gateway of Bangladesh. As the nation’s busiest airport, it plays a crucial role in connecting Bangladesh to the global community, facilitating trade, tourism, and economic growth. The Airline Operators Committee serves as a vital forum that brings together member airlines to work in close coordination with airport authorities, regulatory bodies, and service partners. Our shared objective is to ensure safe, efficient, and seamless operations while continuously enhancing the quality of services for passengers and cargo stakeholders. Operating in a dynamic and rapidly evolving aviation environment, we remain committed to strengthening operational standards, embracing modern technologies, and promoting sustainable aviation practices. Through cooperation, mutual support, and proactive engagement, we strive to address operational challenges and contribute to the continued development of the aviation sector in Bangladesh. In recent years, the aviation industry has demonstrated remarkable resilience in the face of evolving global challenges. Our commitment remains firm—to adopt modern technologies, maintain the highest safety practices, and deliver reliable, efficient, and comfortable services to passengers and cargo partners alike. I sincerely thank all member airlines, partners, and stakeholders for their dedication, professionalism, and collaborative spirit. Together, we will continue working toward a safer, more efficient, and globally competitive aviation future for our country.
Vice Chairman Message
Greetings. The Airline Operators Committee (AOC) of Dhaka Airport was established in the mid-to-late 1970s following the launch of Biman Bangladesh Airlines. The Committee was formed in accordance with International Air Transport Association (IATA) Recommended Practice 1795, which provides the framework for Airline Operators Committees worldwide. The AOC serves as the collective voice of member airlines at the airport, working in structured coordination with the Airport Authority and all stakeholders. Its core objective is to protect the operational interests of airlines while promoting safety, security, efficiency, and service standards through constructive engagement. During my tenure as Chairman, I worked closely with regulators and industry partners to strengthen cooperation, improve operational performance, and support sustainable aviation growth. The AOC must continue to work in close partnership with all stakeholders to achieve shared objectives and uphold international best practices. I sincerely wish the new Chairman every success in his tenure. I am confident that his leadership will further strengthen the Committee’s role and make the journey ahead even more promising.
